This is an interesting video with a haunting version of the Coldplay song "The Scientist" by Willie Nelson. It's intriguing to see how a company like Chipotle uses this to promote their products.


  1. Amber -- That's a lovely video. Chipotle is an interesting case for local burrito lovers (even granting that one has to go to Iowa City to eat at one). Chipotle has been able to more convincingly build this healthy, ethical food brand since McDonald's gave up its 80% ownership in 2006, but the local eater is still faced with a bit of a conundrum. After all, Pancheros is a local business. -- Rob

  2. I like that video, too! And, though I admit I haven't done my own research, my son in Portland, OR is really into the local food movement there and has done quite a bit of research on what restaurants are okay for him to enjoy with his family: Chipotle is one of his mainstays.
